- Balance and coordination
- Catching and throwing
- Basic racquet control
The biggest benefit that Teddy Tennis offers to young children is CONFIDENCE, which is derived by successfully delivering lessons that enable them to progress and develop each week.
With classes now delivered at hundreds of parks, tennis clubs, and nursery schools around the world, Teddy Tennis helps to establish the basis for a healthy lifestyle for young children by making exercise and activity FUN and involving!
Plans are underway to expand to Pattaya, Hua Hin and Phuket later this year. Stay tuned for details!
Graham Johnston
“I’m a great believer in ‘learning by doing’ and that by creating fun & active lessons, we encourage and develop kids’ love and passion not only for the great game of tennis, but for all sport, and for an active, healthy life in general.”
Graham is something of a sporting all-rounder having gained his ‘sporting colours’ at Bangor Grammar School and represented Manchester University in tennis, golf, badminton, and football.
A resident of Bangkok for the past 7 years, Graham has served as Chairman of The British Club Bangkok Tennis Section since 2017. During his time in charge, he has overseen a significant growth in participation at all ages and in events for all playing levels. On court, he has represented the club as playing-captain in both Men’s and Mixed Doubles and, in 2020, led The British Club to their historic first ever victory in the prestigious Thailand Men’s Interclub Doubles Tournament.
Off court Graham is a Diploma certified teacher with an MA in Linguistics from University of Leicester and 20 years’ experience working around the world in the Learning & Development industry including 10 years with the British Council in SE Asia.
Graham is delighted to introduce the Teddy Tennis technique to Thailand to foster enjoyment on court for children at a very young age.
